Stora Enso to show packaging innovations at interpack 2014

This is to include technically-advanced food packaging materials, as well as packaging options for chocolate and confectionery, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics and personal care products.

Stora Enso and Tetra Pak will also jointly present at Innovationparc Packaging in the afternoon of May 9, with a focus on how a localized, highly efficient network in food production, packaging and recycling saves resources, energy and food.

Award-winning packaging concepts from the Recreate Packaging design competition will also be on display at Stora Enso's stand. New concepts and designs for packaging beauty and personal care products will be on display in the trophy corner of Stora Enso's stand. The Recreate Packaging design competition was organized for the second time by Stora Enso and Aalto University, and challenges conventional thinking, and this time put an emphasis on travel-friendly packaging.

The recently announced offset-printed candy cups developed by Stora Enso and AR Packaging will also be on show at interpack 2014, as will the ValueCase pharmaceuticals packaging concept introduced together with Edelmann and Uhlmann.
