Esko plans software and hardware product launches at Labelexpo

From Sept 10-12, Esko will showcase new innovations that help label converter and brands produce more at a faster pace while maintaining optimal quality. These advancements include cloud technology, estimating software and inline inspection hardware.

Moreover, Esko S2 is an open platform supporting connectivity with partners.’   

He continued: ‘We will show Labelexpo visitors how with Esko S2, we are delivering a next-generation solution that will see brands and their labels supply chains accessing connected cloud-based operations to help them achieve new levels of go-to-market speed and efficiency,’ he said. ‘Existing customers will be able to seamlessly integrate their Esko on-premise applications with the S2 platform, for a new way of working which represents a quantum leap in connected, standardized and integrated workflows.’ 

As well as introducing Labelexpo visitors to its newest software platform, Esko will be demonstrating its latest hardware innovations, with its AVT varnish inspection equipment featuring at the heart of booth 335.   

Esko will also use Labelexpo to showcase its new varnish inspection module, for the Esko AVT Helios system, which facilitates viewing and inspection of varnish and coating on various printed substrates simultaneously with print inspection. This patented varnish inspection module detects issues such as varnish misregister, partial and full starvation simultaneously with the existing print defect detection.   

‘The AVT print inspection module is truly groundbreaking, enabling labels converters to inspect and detect defects in varnish coatings during a live label print run,’ De Roeck said. ‘As an add-on to the Helios system, the Varnish Inspection Module enables the concurrent review and monitoring of varnish and coating on multiple printed materials, enabling labels converters to achieve maximum output while reducing waste in their print production process.’
