Epson Labelworks PX launches two printers
Epson Labelworks PX has introduced two printers, LW-PX350 and LW-PX750, to suit the demands of industrial labeling applications, including wire marking and identification.
The LW-PX350 is a portable label maker for wire marking, barcode labels and general identification. It meets MIL-STD 810 drop-test specifications, and can produce compliant labels up to 1/8in (18mm) wide. LW-PX350 uses Labelworks PX industrial supplies from 1/8in (4mm) to 3/4in (18mm) wide, including five sizes of heat shrink tubing plus magnetic, strong adhesive and removable adhesive.
Applications include identification of wires and equipment, organizing tool cribs and storage bins, producing safety labels and tagging assets. It features hot keys and an automatic cutter.
Epson Labelworks PX said LW-PX350 allows users to sequence numbers and letters commonly used for wire and cable identification.
Andrew Kasun, marketing manager at Epson Labelworks PX, said: ‘The LW-PX350 is a cost-conscious choice for a variety of applications. Professionals in construction, warehouse and industrial settings will be impressed by the PX350’s versatility, wide range of supplies, and ease of use for almost any labeling application on the job or in the field.’
LW-PX750 is a portable and PC-connectible industrial label printer for barcodes and facility identification labels up to 1in (24mm) wide. Organizing tool cribs, identifying storage bins, producing safety labels and tagging assets are similarly listed as applications. LW-PX750 uses Labelworks PX industrial supplies from 1/8in (4mm) to 1in (24mm) wide, including self-laminating wraps, heat shrink tubing, magnetic tape, strong adhesive and removable adhesive.
Application-specific hot keys are available for barcoding, asset management, mixed-length and half-cut labels. The mixed-length feature prints variable length labels on a single, half-cut strip. The pick-and-print feature allows users to queue a series of labels that the printer will print, cut and then hold until removed.
Images and Excel files can be imported and printed on-the-go using the supplied Label Editor Professional software.
The Energy Star-Certified LW-PX750 also features PeelGuard, a built-in automatic cutter that rounds label corners to extend the life and durability of a label, and tape rollback technology to reduce lead margin waste.
Kasun said: ‘LW-PX750 is the latest in the Labelworks PX line of printers with innovative features that save time and money. Datacom, electrical, warehouse and industrial professionals will be impressed by the PX750’s versatility, wide range of supplies, and ease of use for almost any labeling application at their PC workstations or standalone in the field.’
Epson Labelworks PX products are available through K-Sun’s authorized distributor network in North America.
